Double Fish Sports, established in 1954, is one of China's largest sports goods manufacturers, a top ten enterprise in China's light industry sports goods sector, and a sponsor of large-scale table tennis sports events both domestically and internationally, enjoying a high level of recognition worldwide.

As Double Fish Sports continues to expand its business, the brand has gradually extended to overseas markets, with Asia being one of the main development regions. However, Double Fish Sports has been troubled by trademark registration issues in South Korea for many years.

Acting on Double Fish Sports' behalf, Patmark Attorneys conducted a comprehensive search, evaluation, and analysis of the "双鱼 DOUBLE FISH" mark in Class 28 in South Korea. We checked the usage of prior obstacle marks and assessed whether the trademark registrants had engaged in other speculative registrations. Considering that the prior obstacle marks had already been registered for three years, we provided a comprehensive trademark registration opinion. By filing cancellation actions against the prior obstacle marks and simultaneously applying for Double Fish Sports' own marks, we ultimately had the "双鱼 DOUBLE FISH" mark registered in Class 28 in South Korea, providing brand support for the company's overseas market layout and development.

After Double Fish Sports obtains trademark registration in South Korea, it can quickly establish its presence in the overseas market, expand sales, achieve brand effect and recognition, and obtain local trademark protection.
